Like almost everyone else in town, Sam Davies and his friends have been caught up in the latest sports craze: collecting League Look-Alikes- limited edition, miniature figures of their rugby league heroes.

But when Sam stumbles upon an underground room next to his aunt’s house full of these rare collectables, he begins to suspect there’s more to the tiny action men than meets the eye.

While the Look –Alikes’ trail becomes ever more dangerous, Sam tries to put the mystery aside to focus on his own game: a junior match for Country against City, closely followed by another huge event, the local Under-13 grand final at the Blackwood Thunderdome.

However, when strange things start happening during these matches, Sam realises that he and the rest of his Bears team have become part of the mystery and the danger themselves.
